I personally discourage people from buying a Switch right around now, considering that if they've waited over 2 years already, surely they can wait another month for a potential E3 announcement for one of its remakes, for probably a November release that would simultaneously drop the original Switch's price.
Soon as in next week, or ask for a better price at any other store then Harvey Norman. Most times it drops to at least $370 for the console. Game is also like $67? From amazon before cashback
Don't forget about EOFY sales that could mean a price drop. I would say hold out til then. If you don't get a switch then, wait until November or whenever the new version comes out.

Spose it's good for someone that wants it now, I needed one last week (for son's bday) and cheapest was $429 from Amazon. Luckily/unluckily the item didn't come in in time and I ended up finding one second hand for $280 with a couple of games (and remaining couple months warranty). People still trying to sell second hand (some unopened but still) between 350 and 400 bucks!
So makes the console $380 after taking away the game…. pretty standard price. Price will most likely drop sometime in the near future.
