  I mean GTA V was expensive for years after it's re-release. It's not like most games where most of the sales happen in the first few months and then they just decide to cut the price by 75%

  For the amount of hours you could potentially get out of this game, it is well worth it. Not to mention that after almost 10 years on, there are still regular updates.
