  For me, I have a screen and projector mount already installed. If I was going to replace my current projector, lens shift will help adjust the new projector picture onto the current setup.

    Unfortunately lens shift is rare on the 4K projectors. The W1700 just features vertical keystone correction. The new W2700 has 10% vertical lens shift in addition to the keystone correction though.
    There are some Epson FULL HD models with heaps of lens shift but you are dropping down from 4K.

  Hi justprojectors - I have a BenQ W1070 that I would like to replace with this one.

  Do you know if I can put the W1700 on the same roof mount?

  Hopefully being the same brand I wouldnt need much adjustment distance wise.

    A universal mount will work fine with the W1700, if your mount has the adjustable arms it should be fine.
    The Throw Ratio on the W1700 is different though. To get the same picture size you actually need to mount the W1700 further back than the W1070.

    The new release W2700 has the same mounting and throw distance as the W1070 so would be a good option if you can't move your mount. It is a little more expensive but you get lots of improvements. It is up on the Just Projectors website now.
