MAC Lipstick Vs Estee Lauder Lipstick

I am not much into make-up things but i want to buy a really good long lasting lipstick for everyday use. Which one is better? MAC or Estee Lauder Pure color envy?
I am getting EL for half price but is it worth?

    I have never found the expensive brand name lipsticks to be any better than the average priced lipsticks you can buy at a chemist. Revlon ColorStay lipsticks are as long lasting as it gets in my experience.

    L'Oreal's long lasting sold almost everywhere actually outlasted MAC for me. I was kinda p***ed…

      Which L'oreal in particular? Colour rich? Matte?

        Infallibile Le Rouge; I found it wasn't as drying as the 2 step.
