  • There's quite a few $4 PC games but stock will vary from store to store. Wolfenstein the new order was in stock at my local.

  • are these provided with keys to redeem on steam/ubisoft/etc.. ?

  • +1

Hmm Torment and XCOM2 are too cheap to ignore I feel.

Although will have to go in-store to get value.

    • Good luck finding stock, those were 2 that I tried.

  • unfortunately Shadow of War Gold Edition is out of stock in NSW

  • Tried a few of these but stock is very limited so can only get them if I drive for an hour.

  • Wolfenstein new order and old blood on allkeyshop for around 4eur = 6.50aud for people who find out of stock or can't be bothered picking up.

  • Also sine Mora ex is 2.50eur = 4aud approx from allkeyshop

Allkeyshop is not an official reseller so a lot more risky.

      • It's not even a reseller. It's a price comparison site which indexes the price across many, many resellers.

As for risky, I have only ever had one instance (out if approx 100 purchases) of a key that didn't work, and that was replaced and a new key provided which did work.

I think you've had not much experience buying from key resellers. They are not interested in scamming you for 6.50aud and risking their online reputation, when they can make plenty of money without scamming anyone.

Please do not make an assumption about how much experience I have had with those sites - I know very well what they are.

I have now checked a few games: with one exception (HRK) the hits that come up are unofficial/grey market resellers, many not without their problems (instant gaming, G2a) which means buying keys from them is risky. That being the case, for me and in this context Allkeyshop is akin to a grey market/unofficial reseller.
This is the reason neither Allkeyshop promotions nor any deals from G2A, Kinguin etc. are allowed on Reddit - risky and not official resellers which support the game industry.

Plus, you make it sound like the kid in Russia dealing with grey market and possibly stolen keys acts like a professional and serious businessmen - they do not as they can easily make a new account and do it again.

You were just lucky thus far which is great but there is no denying these sites are risky, employ a lot of shady business practices and by selling bundle keys (which is against the T&Cs) they damage the game industry as a whole and increase the risk of bundles getting less attractive as publishers do not want to see the bundle keys resold. Why do you think HB put a minimum of $1 for Steam keys and often only allows you to buy a limited number of bundles per account (and does check against IP addresses)?
Do a Google search and you can read up on that and G2A etc. troubles.

          • @Lysander: So you are experienced with using cdkey resellers? Have you had any issues with any keys you have purchased? Were you given a refund or replacement key?

I think sites like g2a and kinguin are more interested in keeping their referral programs going with popular youtubers than scamming you for 5 bucks. The kid in Russia might try, but even if they succeed, you'd get a real key or a refund from these sites, in my experience.

What is your as actual experience?

            • @ozbjunkie: Yes, I have tried them (as otherwise it would not be prudent to talk about them, right?)! and had plenty of "fun" with them, especially G2A. So did plenty of my friends. The trouble is not really worth the gain.
The support is a joke - they either do not understand or do not want to understand - I got charged three times for the same item with no luck of refund.
Other times I would order an item and then it would be refunded as the seller would not answer or approve. Then I had to order it again from someone else and pay their "transaction fee" again.
Plus the fact they even offer a buyer protection should ring a warning bell - not official reseller does that as obviously there is no need.
If you have to offer that service it means you know your keys are suspicious.
Plus, that service is part of the law - if you get a faulty or non-working product of course they should rectify it but they should not only do so if you paid previously for it (and often that is like 5 times of the purchase price - they call it G2A Shield).
Monthly inactivity fee? Nah, thank you!
I recommend you read at least the first article below - it gives you an idea of what those sites do to the people who make games.

              There are many, many more.

              • @Lysander: Ok I'm happy to accept that you had issues. Also, I never claimed they were good for the gaming industry.

I think you're right that secondary sellers on g2a are sometimes dodgy. And I definitely agree that the subscription shield service is a joke. However, sites like cdkeys and gamivo, which are not simply marketplaces for secondary sellers (to my knowledge) have always rectified any issues without a great deal of effort on my part.

                All the best mate.

                • @ozbjunkie: Gamivo definitely is a marketplace for sellers and I think CDkeys is as well.
Shows when something is on Ozbargain and 50 people try to buy it, the prices rises quickly as they only have a few sellers offering at the lowest price. The only time it is different if keys obtained from freebies are sold - they have plenty of those themselves.
I am happy you were lucky thus far.
Personally, I am willing to pay slightly more and ensure the people who make the games get their money and hopefully circumvent any faulty and used key issues.

@Lysander Allkeyshop is a price comparison site.

Edit: nvm someone already corrected you.

        • I know it is. But the prices it compares are mostly from grey market sites which makes Allkeyshop an aggregator grey key site.
