  • Good discounts on a couple of the hotels we've been looking at, but the only Accor Plus discounts I can see for a few hotels I tried are 30% off (not the 40% off they indicate). I think I saw this on a previous sale & they fixed it after a while.
Can any other Accor plus ozbargainers see hotels with 40% off?

  • Long term Accor Hotel user here and mainly in Australia. I'm a member of their rewards scheme but don't use it enough to get much out of it but… deals like this happen nearly every month.

I have a show to go to in Melbourne in Oct and i'm waiting for their 40% off and $1 breakfast deal plus room upgrade…they do it every year.

This isn't a bad deal though all the same.

    • So isn't this a better deal? 30% off & free breakfast?
Depending on where you stay & how many nights Accor Plus membership (cheaper to join via Fiji - PM if you would like my contact) is usually easily worthwhile with a free night, 40% off (rather than 30% - although can't see this on any hotels yet) plus 50% off meals if two people dine.

      • Just pm you about joining accor plus

Hotel I'm looking at logged in comes up as $273, incognito comes up as $273. Where's the discount?

    • Yeah, same here, I can't see any discount when I am logged in.

      • If you click through to book & look at the price options one of them should be 30% off (along with other price options that would have been there before this sale was announced). I presume you need to be a member to actually book this rate.
For example, last week I was looking at the Sofitel City Centre in Singapore for early next year. Price was A$444 plus A$78 taxes, no breakfast.
This price is still listed, but there is now another price of A$296 plus A$52 taxes with free breakfast!
In the meantime I used my free Accor Plus night & more than paid for my membership.

        • Do you mean after selecting the room click the Book button and then the price changes?

When I'm just looking at the different Room options I see a few different rates, specials, but none are 30% off.

Perhaps it doesn't apply to all hotels?

        • Free Accor plus? How is that?

@UrbionPT: When you join Accor Plus (which isn't free) you get a free night added to your account each year which can be used at most hotels at most times of the year.

I joined up Accor Plus last Monday via Indonesia which typically requires some ‘work around’ given the residency requirements. This sale was actually released to Accor Plus members yesterday so I had all day to pick and chose the dates and find the 30% off Super Sale fares which I booked for Bali. Unfortunately, today most of the better rooms and peak season dates seems to be limited pickings.

Regardless, prices for Accor Plus Indonesia are as follows:

New Membership 1 stay plus IDR 2,500,000 ($250 AUD)
Yearly Renewal 1 stay plus IDR 2,300,000 ($230 AUD)
New Membership 2 stay plus IDR 3,900,000 ($390 AUD)
Yearly Renewal 2 stay plus IDR 3,200,000 ($320 AUD)

Ideally if you holiday yearly in Bali – its definitely worth having Accor Plus via Indonesia as you receive yearly Indonesia only vouchers (i.e. 2x rooms upgrade certificates, 4x breakfast certificates for 2 people, 1x birthday cake & IDR 300,000 dinning certificate for groups of 6)

I also used Accor Plus to book Red Hot rooms in Bali at 40% off and 50% off breakfast last week. Red Hot rooms are good if your travelling within the next 6 weeks.

I also used it on Sunday for Mother’s Day at the Pullman in Melbourne for a Buffett Breakfast (includes unlimited fresh juices, fruits, eggs station, espresso, hot food, cereals, desserts etc) for 2x adults and 2x children (under 16) for a grand total of $38.50!

Feel free to PM me and I’ll refer your details to my Accor Plus contact who will set you up.

Have any of the Accor Plus members found a hotel with 40% off?
I can't see the normal additional 10% off in my Accor Plus login (which they always show during these sales).

    • Hi Gaz1.

I too was having the same problem where I didn’t see any offers actually say 40%. What I did though is play with dates and length of stay to get that extra 10%.

For example when I tried to book Novotel Bali Benoa Deluxe Pool side for 3 nights it was $136 per night including breakfast. However when I increased it to 4 nights it dropped to $123 per night incl taxes and breakfast. Both the 3 and 4 nights still show up as 30% off but sometimes that extra night gives you that extra 10% to bring it to 40%.

      • Thanks - I guess it is an error in the title rather than the pricing.
