You should look at the Hisense P6 43 inch. Have been just under $500 on the eBay deals. Very average smart features though, only good for YouTube and Netflix with a couple more apps. Very good picture, as it has a direct backlight, unlike every other 43 inch which is edgelit or IPS panel. This has VA panel, has about 5X the contrast and at least double the brightness of an IPS panel. If you want to buy from a bricks and mortar store, JBHifi have had it on sale for $550 previously. Should be able to get it for less if you haggle with them.
