 - not the same level

 - Is this the latest model that’s quieter? - Doesn't look like it, the LCD is on the bottom (old) rather than the top (new) of the base. - Other than the LCD, what's the difference between the two models? - Trying to google it but couldn't find anything. - I think, from memory, new ones rotate through a greater range, and there's been a focus on minimising previous noise issues on automatic mode.

 - Thanks, may pass up on the deal because of the noise issue.

 - Just letting everyone know that if you look on the ozbargain classifieds, there are people selling 25% off Dyson website codes/vouchers for like $10. So if you bought it directly from the website with that code it would come down to $449 + $10 for the code. - where can I find these codes ?
 - Tested, not working on discounted items. - Was working the other day I checked. Maybe they prevented it from being used on discounted items

 - What model is this? I got HP04 days ago.
 - HP03 - Then it is definately a deal!I think HP03 and HP04 are basically the same. - Hoping you can tell me then, what's the wattage for HP04? In this energy-conscious time, I'm surprised I can't seem to find the Australian info. Thanks for the help!

 - I read you have to change the $99 filter once a year. Can you skip replacing it and the unit still works? I'm not too fussed about the purifier part - The app will tell you when to change the filter but it depends on use. If yr only using it for a few hours every day for heat, the filter will last a lot longer.
As per all these hot/cold dysons it's really important to note that as a fan, it's not the best. As a heater it's great. And with the purifier, it majes a big difference if you have alergies/hayfever etc.
You also might get a free filter included. Often they have that as part of the deal. Not sure with this. - thanks! i don't think i'll use the purifier much since we don't have much problems with allergies in my family. i'm hoping to still use the heater/fan after the purifier gets "full." - One trick then is to vacuum regularly the section at the bottom with the grille. It accumulates a lot of dust…. Possibly its an exhaust, jot sure. But if you keep that clear, things will work better as well. - @TheRealCher: oh really? i just ordered one yesterday and i can't wait to receive it! thanks for the tip

 - My wife wants one of these for the baby room but i don't want to spend $500+ on a fan - Exactly. Air Conditioner is always better. - I really can’t see any benefits of this over an air conditioner?

 - As a fan, no. It distributes air, but it doesn't cool any more than a thirty dollar fan would. The benefits with this are heating, purifying, and blade less so it's safe. Or safer. - What makes it better than a regular fan heater or oil heater? - Directed air flow rather than radiant heat, so it can warm up either a targeted space (if on fixed position) or a room (if on rotate) in a very quick time. Then it reduces power/heat to only what is necessary to maintain temperature.
Also has app, or remote control with timer.

can anyone comment against the xiaomi purifier?
