Laptop - That Can Edit 4k Videos with Ease

Looking for a Light weight Laptop
probably around 14"
that can edit 4k videos on the move.
Travel alot and sick of carrying massive laptop everywhere…
Im happy to take longer battery for HD screen over 4k as long as can edit them

Preferably upto $1500

Any Suggestions?

      Yeh.. But my laptop now just stuggles with any video editing..

    While there's nothing wrong with editing in 4K, consider a proxy (and smart rendering) workflow. Google/YouTube is replete with practicals by prolific editors for most NLEs. Not only does it make for snappy editing, less strain on the system will conserve the precious battery power.

    If keeping light and colouring yourself, I'd prioritise a good quality 1080p screen over processing power. You don't need a fancy laptop screen for editing if you have the luxury of plugging in a colour-calibrated monitor (or outsourcing) when it comes to colour-correction/grading.

    I'm happy editing on the move with a not-so-lightweight Dell G5 i7-8750H with its mediocre 1080p screen, and plug in an external monitor for colour work.
