In that case I wouldn't really wanna choose Shenzhen, China as the place to go to.
They probably won't reimburse you. A friend of a friend of mine did something similar and never got paid, there was nothing he could do about it.

This was told to me by a friend of mine, not dealextreme but another company. He was asked to fly out there at his cost to be reimbursed later, work without pay for a period while they draft up a contract for him after his internship. He never saw that contract, or the money for his flight.
Basically when someone asks you to fly to the other side of the world without paying your ticket and to work for free, alarm bells should be ringing.

Shenzhen is pretty sh!t place to do an internship also. Hong Kong would have been a different story.
Agreed. Plus, you'd prob be holed up in a dingy shared house (probably a shared room with some other poor sod) and eating out of "rice boxes" for the 2 months you're there.
nice… there are plenty of programs like this… where they want u to teach English for free accommodation n tickets. I am concerned with the whole you have to pa for tickets first then they will reimburse you.
