    No.

Don't worry, Telstra's coming to the rescue with a-bit-faster-than-LTE-that-acts-like-WiFi after spending 60 billion already not laying down fibre.

The private sector is (profanity) hopeless at anything barring extracting money.

    No

We wouldn't be getting just 100mpbs max in first world country if NBN cared about consumer.

  • ask people in your postcode to run speed tests

  • There is no such test within postcode, it depends on the location of the exchange

Put a decimal place between the 2nd and 3rd number of the postcode and that equals the NBN speed. It's the whole reason postcodes exist.

That's why Santa is rocking 99.99 mb/s with his North Pole postcode in Victoria.

if you know your POI, you can check for congestion.. i dont know why more providers don't offer this transparency

    • thats pretty cool

    • Anyone know why almost every POI has a brief spike between 9 and 9:30pm?

Probably because it would scare customers off as they don't dimension correctly?
