  • 256GB Model is also only $69.19 (via Amazon US) with free shipping if you have Prime

  • Will this work with the iPad Pro 2018?

    • -3

No not really they have lightening connectors

      • +3

No, they have usb c not Lightning. But still won't work as external storage is disabled in OS (currently)

        • :(
Guess I have to try an app FileManager or something similar.

        • is that true ? They dropped the lightening connector on the latest ipad ?

          • @unifex: wow just looked it up. Didn't think they would give this up.

these drives are very slow to write, thank me later

Its not bad if you want the cheap storage, it has the read speeds but its priced for storage not performance

      • write speeds don't seem too slow on the above review, 29 MB/s and 56 MB/s - or is that considered really slow these days?

        • Try closer to 8mb/s once the initial burst is done.

They’re spectacularly slow. It be grumpy if I didn’t get mine for $7 from last time.

I choose to thank you now

I second this statement. The write speeds after the first gig or so are abysmal

I wish the old extreme sticks went on sale, they were great.

  • The write speeds on these things are bad enough to put me off ever wanting to use them.

  • Sorry, just sold out

  • I ordered the 32GB stick over the weekend. It was supposed to be $15.80. Today I noticed I was only charged $1.80. Here is the breakdown:

    Item Subtotal: $14.36
    Postage & Packing: $0.00
    Courtesy Credit: -$9.00
    Courtesy Credit: -$5.00
    Total before GST: $0.36
    GST: $1.44
    Total: $1.80
    Paid by Mastercard: $1.80

I tried putting through a second order today and Amazon wanted $15.99.
