So now that we all have Pixels - Anyone have any tips & tricks they want to share? any recommended accessories?

I found this video pretty useful for learning a few tricks for navigating around the phone: https://youtu.be/AdvTe_iTvYw?t=155
e.g.

  • swipe right on the pill to go back to previous app
  • slow continuous swipe up to go to the app drawer (as opposed to swiping up for multitasking)
  • swiping your finger down on the fingerprint sensor will pull down the settings menu from the top

I also have ordered these 2 cases, will review them once they arrive

Android has been dead easy to navigate around forever?

Or are you talking to apple users?

    • The latest version of android running on the Pixel 3 has a completely new navigation system (involving gestures instead of buttons) and plenty of other new features.

      • Yeah but the changes are very intuitive and really not much different from the 3 on screen buttons before it. Maybe the swipe right bit might be something people haven't got previously (ie. switching between most recent apps). I honest feel like that change is more iterative than being so far out there that you would find the phone hard to use without instructions.

The NILLKIN Super Frosted Shield matte hard case is my favourite.
I got the pixel official fabric case on ebay super cheap, it is my 2nd favourite.
What annoys me most is the lack of Qi and QC standards.
