Isn't it a bad idea to have non stick pots? Do you have to be careful not to have the temperature too high?

    • +4

These kinds of things end up being a personal choice. PTFE coatings aren't without health risk, but they have practicality benefits when cleaning and cooking. "Too high" temperature typically means boiling the pot dry or heating it on high without anything in it, and these scenarios are easy enough to avoid. If you look after the non-stick surface, it's an acceptable risk to many (and the government regulators).

I use stainless pans when I'm going to blast the crap out of something, and non-stick for lighter duties.

  • Hard to tell for certain from the picture whether they are glass or all metal lids. Bought anyway, my mum has the three frypan set of these (from Myer) and they cook and clean up nicely.

    Seems like a clearance

    Was cheaper at Myers.

Note it is Hard Anodised. Not non stick.

It is hard anodised AND non-stick. Circulon use PTFE in their non-stick layer.

  • Sigh, just bought them….. Thanks I think!

  • Nice just picked this up!

  • Love the 3x frypan set, highly tempted to buy this.

I think i just saved 105 bucks by hesitating.

  • Grabbed a set, cheers!

  • Appears as full price for me.

  • Shows $397 for me. What am I doing wrong?

  • It's $397 now… missed it

  • Thanks, Got one, amazon is out of stock, and it has gone to the next vendor, price back upto rrp.

  • Damn, saw it on my phone then decided to get up and walk to my computer, then BAM out of stock and back to RRP.

    You snooze you loose…

  • Damn, was good for induction too

  • Grabbed one thanks op

  • Thanks OP. Grabbed one

    • How?? hasn't the price bolted back up to $397??

I purchased one of their frying pans a while ago and it's not that good. The grooved surface is gimmicky. Switched over to a couple of Analon pans (hard anodised) and they have been great. Replaced the smaller Analon with an IKEA pan (TROVÄRDIG) and it's been good so far.

  • Just Got one 2 mins ago.

  • There is one more available.

I snatched one so last one might have been me. Anyone super interested in one - its got the smell of one of those items that pop in and out of sale price as the seller adds more - though who knows. Basing that just on recent Amazon experiences.

Anotherone just popped back in stock a few mins ago and I purchased it for a family member.

      • Well done. Love to find out more about how their live stock inventory works.

  • Arrived via Australia Post. I was half expecting a courier given the size, but it came via the regular post office via Express Post. It's deals like this you have Prime for.

The amount of outer packaging though, extreme! Boxed, then plastic wrapped, then boxed again.
