When I tried to port my prepaid service from Amaysim to Lycamobile, in the field where I was asked to enter my account number, what should I enter as I do not have an account number since it is a prepaid service. When I enter my date of birth in the form of DDMMYYYY, the system would not allow it as it must contain 9 numbers. Please advise.
I think you might've missed an option earlier on to select whether you're porting from a prepaid or postpaid service.
Postpaid services need an account number to be ported. Prepaid services need a date of birth.
I've ported to lycamobile a few times and never had an issue entering my date of birth.
