Should I Find a Renovator Online?

Want to make some modifications to my home - convert a garage to a room, and replace built-in wardrobes. Should I find a renovator from one of those online quote websites (hipages, oneflare)? Please let me know your experience / advise. I'm in Ryde area, Sydney. Thanks.

    sure, why not?

    get some quotes. hear what the renovators have to say, then go from there.

    My wife put an ad on gumtree requesting someone to convert our garage into a room. Received about 5 people who were interested and came and quoted up.

    Ranging from 2.2 - 9.8K. Obviously took the cheapist and couldn't be happier. This wasn't painted however.
    I'd recommend getting quotes. Also, we didn't consider insulating but glad we had it recommended.
