looking for some suggestions for a new TV for my parents. Based on size of their room and tv unit, can only accomodate 40" max. Even 43" is too big.
Just after a SMART TV, with USB etc. It won't be used for gaming or watching 4K bluerays.
Only TV i was able to find was the new Hisense 40R4, but can't find any reviews.
Any other suggestions? Not after the cheapest TV. Still would like an easy interface for them to use.

We have a Hisense 39" P4 Smart TV we bought last year, and have been very happy with it - great picture and sound, has Netflix and Youtube apps (and buttons for these on the remote as well), also Stan and SBS on Demand apps so all of those are easy to access - that was the main attraction for us with Hisense as those apps cover most of our viewing (seeing as FTA is mostly crap LOL). Has Freeview Plus as well. The P4 models have been discontinued and most places seem to have them on clearance at the moment, I've just bought another 39" as a second TV for our family room.
FWIW, would be an easy size to find on Gumtree/FB, given that 40" is relatively small these days. Add that you don't need 4K and it would be very easy.
Couple with a Vodafone TV if you want smartness and a remote
