HP PhotoSmart B110A Wireless Multifunction $79.80 after 5% PriceMatch off at Officeworks

20

Today I purchased this HP B110a wireless multifunction printer using the 5% off officeworks guarantee from the JBhifi online store price of $84.
Office works has it listed at $99, Big W at $88, JB Hifi online $84
Made the purchase a nice $79.80, hasnt been this price for a few months now.
While not a top of the line printer, you can print over the net with this and a nice cheap wireless unit for the home…

I have this printer. It makes the bookcase (a very flimsy Ikea one) look like it's in the middle of a Japanese earthquake when it prints. (It is particularly reminiscent of a Japanese earthquake because my house looks like a Japanese office building.

    • uhm..ok…if you say so …

@dzhay - probably one of the dumbest comments ever posted on here

    • I agree - I have mine sitting on a bookshelf (crappy kmart one) and it does try to throw itself around a bit when printing.

Officeworks pricematching is not a deal.

Uhh…we're all very happy for you. But if everyone posted their shopping experience on here the server will have a meltdown.

Kindly explain how getting 5% off a printer that is selling for $84 is a good deal. To me, not worth a post on the main site.

  • i got one from the rebate from apple.. if anyone wants it let me know. i havnt even opened it.. 50 bux im in melb. =)

    • Yes mate. I would be more than happy to take it off your hands for $50. Also in Melbourne.

Every time the power resets I have to enter in the wifi settings again (which is painful without a keyboard). Scanner seems poor quality, too - and to add insult to injury, when I try to scan at more than 72 dpi it tells me I'm scanning at a higher quality than what I need. Uh, thanks for that unwanted advice.

On the plus side, you can send emails to your B110 and it'll print them out. Which is useful, if you get something on the run that you need to get printed and you know you'll forgot if you wait.

Errr… you can send your emails to ANY printer and print them, you know. And letters and spreadsheets and… ROFL

Before posting your sarcastic comment perhaps you should have read about the product and then you would know you can actually email the printer.. So you can email a photo from your iPhone and it will print it out…

Didn't the team here decide that Price Match was not a valid reason to call something a "bargain"?

  • I picked on up frrom DSE for $99 after talking them down frrom $129. Then found it at HN for $66 last weekend. Lucky DSE have the 14 day price promise

Nice printer if you have iphone/ipad as you can print wireless to it.

BTW: HP are doing a $20 eftpos card with this printer if you also purchase the ink 3 pack.
