Wanted to see what the new hotter/juicier/tastier was about. Rocked up to Maccas on Morley Drive (Perth, WA) at ~ 5.00pm today and they were very busy. I got a big mac and I must say…it definitely was. The bun was different, toasted, almost a glaze on top, the cheese was a lot softer than before , more special sauce (between the softer cheese and more sauce verging on too much) and the overall taste was great. Maybe its just that being busy made sure it was freshly made but… two thumbs up if that is the new big mac.
The burgers are still better at Hungry Jacks…

I barely noticed the difference.
The only thing that stood out, was the bun was shinny instead of matte. Burger was 95% the same otherwise.
I go to Cremorne so we get reasonably fresh burgers all the time, like most Sydney McDonald to be honest.
so it should be; but the deal has become so often that it no longer looks and sounds like a bargain anymore.
Maccas is so overpriced in Australia. was in the US in March, and their McChickens are $1
different breed of chicken.
Minimum wage is vastly different also the exchange rate.

The meat in a Quarter Pounder equals a quarter of a pound of meat, therefore 4 to 1.
The meat in a Big Mac equals a tenth of a pound of meat per patty, therefore 10 to 1 x 2 = 5 to 1.Based on above, you get more meat in a Quarter Pounder than you do in a Big Mac. Therefore, the Quarter Pounder is the best value burger.
Is it a valid until run out like last time?
I added the $3 classic burger code at the kiosk by typing it in and then selected Big Mac. I then tried adding the $1 hash brown code and got an error. I pressed the left option (think it was 'yes'). My cart then showed $0 and I could check out for a free Big Mac. Have an image of the receipt, but I'm new here and not sure how to add an image.
My friend also tried and confirmed it! Give it a try before they patch it haha
I tried it for science and it didn't work with the left (cancel) or right (yes) options.
I tried again on my gfs account and it didn't work. But my friends and their colleagues managed to get it. Seems inconsistent.
Yeah I got it with another account without having to do anything after the Big Mac. It came up as "
$0$3.00" but still charged me $0. Only Big Mac and Quarter Pounder came up but I didn't check price for Quarter Pounder. Don't know if it makes a difference but failure was at Bondi Beach and success at Randwick.

You got a chance to receive FREE Big Mac instead.
Try the following
1. Open app and find the offer.
2. Choose scan at counter/store to retrieve the QR code page and 4 CAPITAL LETTERS.
3. Go to ordering machine, choose ENTER CODE and enter the 4 letters just generated on your phone.
4. Choose big Mac and see if price goes to 0.
5. Choose checkout and receive a $0 receipt.Can confirm with second account.
Could only choose Big Mac or Quarter Pounder and Big Mac had $0 crossed out and $3 next to it, but was charged $0.
