Standalone Smartwatch Accepting Actual Sim Card

I'm looking for a Standalone Smart-watch with Sim Card. I am however not prepared to pay $$$$ to likes of apple watch 4 or Galaxy Watch.

I know Samsung Gear S SM-R750 accepts simcard, but I hear Australian Telco's don't support it.

Any ideas? Not necessarily after a premium brand, as long as I can take and make calls with it without having be connected to my phone via blutooth.

Thor 4 duo from deblaze. Banggood has it for about $180, gearbest for about $240

    • Thanks for this, I never knew about this brand. Do you happen to know how's it's battery life?

      • Not really to be honest. Haven't used it (yet). Saw a few reviews and it does look good. I am looking to buy this myself in a month…

        • cheers mate

been using LG Urbane 2nd edition for 2 years every day. standalone, Android Pay, Fitness tracker, Music player, Android app store. Can't imagine without it

    • Thanks hopper. How's the battery life?

      • if on cellular then don't expect more than 8 hours. i use the standalone option only for run , grocery shopping and when spending time with kid

        • Thanks mate.
Am I right in assuming that, they consume more battery when they are on cellular, compared to when they are connected to the handset via blutooth?
