Best TV $2000

Hi all.. Best 65+" TV for ~$2000? No gaming, in a relatively well lit room.

    Well lit room will almost exclude an OLED, maybe look towards a Samsung QLED

    I just bought a 65" LG um7600 from good guys at their VIP sale yesterday. I had a similar budget to yours but will be allocating some funds to get a Sonos Beam as well

      Haha.. I was just looking at that TV. No details on it in ozbargain. How much you paid? And if any reviews you saw?

        $1355. No I did not see any reviews because there really isn't much out there. I upgraded from an 8 year old 50" plasma so the experience has been great so far.
        When the telly is in your room and you don't have other televisions to compare against, you really need to have a keen eye to make out the differences in quality.
        I did buy the Samsung HW-Q90 soundbar which has been an earth shattering experience and made me a very happy chappy. Chose this over a Sonos and Bose setup.

    If you can still find last years Sony X8500F or 9000F they’d give you a good image at that price, otherwise as has been mentioned a Samsung QLED. what’s best for one person vs best for another will largely depend on what they watch most and which aspect of a TV is most important.
