Was looking to buy Forza Horizon 4 and realised it was on sale for $50.

Oh, I didn't realise that. Last time I checked was some time last year when it was still $100 for the standard edition.
Digital copies are different than physical copies. You can gameshare digital versions and it’s also a Play Anywhere title so you can play it on PC as well.
I’ve got it with game pass but it’s still a reasonable price for the digital version.
Not really, most of those examples you gave 98% off prior don't or won't use. So you're trying to plug something that about 2% off the xbox gamers would use.. Most people would see right through what you are trying to say.

It regularly goes on sale on Microsoft store for a slightly dearer price but this is the cheapest it’s been as a digital copy. The digital copy is Play Anywhere which means this is effectively an Xbox game and/or a PC game. I also game on PC and use Play Anywhere titles so this was a plus for me especially as cloud saves link pc and Xbox game saves.
As I already said I personally wouldn’t buy it for this price (I have game pass and I didn’t upvote it) but as a digital copy this is the best price.
I regularly use gamesharing so this is effectively 2 games in one for me. As a personal preference I also have never traded in or sold an old game (I still have storage of old Commodore 64/Atari/snes/n64/ps1 games and am a massive hoarder so resell value doesn’t mean anything to me.
TL;DR i was just stating that it was wrong to downvote this post because physical copies are cheaper. They are not comparable. It’s like downvoting a console deal because the Pc version is cheaper
You can't compare the two prices. As above digital has other benefits too.
You can actually, you can at least resell a physical copy. $50 is a stretch to call this game a bargain. Should be this price on release. Barely any better than FH3.
Did you read the post above? You can share it with 2 simultaneous users. That alone makes it better for many. Many are key differences too.
Regardless, I don't want any physical games, all mine are long gone.
I never called it a bargain anyway, but comparing physical to digital isn't the same.

If you're unsure on this game, you can get the Xbox game pass for $1 for 3 months, this game is included in the pass so its playable until your pass expires. Currently doing this, its a fun game.

Guessing that deal's expired since I'm only seeing the first month for $1 then subsequent months for $10.95/month.
The good thing about buying from MS is Play Anywhere… but I'm still waiting for it to drop further.

The standard xbone version is only $35 on their ebay store and has been that price for a while.

It's obviously worth noting that this is a deal mainly for PC users, as PC users can't use a physical xbox copy on PC like they can a digital version, and they don't sell physical versions for the PC.

I purchased Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition, there wasn't much worth in buying the Deluxe. The standard is okay but constantly pesters you to get the expansion (Fortune island).
It's $46 @ JB HiFi, and it's been half this price throughout the year.
Also $39 @ Amazon and Mighty Ape.
