Fisher & Paykel 2014 Smart Fridge 614L Beeping Error

I have Fisher & Paykel fridge RF610ADUSX4 614 L brought in late 2014. All was going well until from last week the fridge has been constantly beeping for 20 times only when I open the compartment( tip or bottom) most of the times. On the control panel its showing Spanner error with 2 flashing lights.

I rang F&P customer service & quoted $120 calling fee plus $80-$200 labour fee plus parts. I think its probably around $400. I am not having any issue with cooling or noise etc but I heard if I didnt get it fix this might become worse like continuously beeping even if doors are closed.

Anyne has any idea what sort of alarm is this?

I have already tried to cleanup whole fridge & even checked inside both fans are working fine.

Atm I can't afford to spend that huge amount.

Does anyone have any kind of experience like this?

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
I am in Melbourne Southeast.

    In the unlikely event a fault occurs the icon will illuminate on the internal control panel and an alarm will sound when the fresh food compartment door is opened.

    Please count the number of beeps made when the fresh food compartment door is opened. Please also take note of the number and sequence of temperature lights displayed on the internal control panel and contact our Customer Care Centre.
    To silence the fault alarm press any button on the internal control panel. The icon will remain illuminated until the fault is corrected.

      Thanks for reply. Manual doesn't says anything except to contact customer care.

    You should see a fault code on the bottom left of the display that will provide more info.

    Mine has been beeping with open doors for a few years now. I know the problem, could fix it, but now don't mind the beep warning, and I can tell when someone's raiding the fridge from another room - which has been handy at times.

      On my control panel it's only showing 2 lights flashing nothing else :( Customer care guy said something wrong with heating element..

    So i just had this problem and couldn't find any posts on how to fix.

    Our F&P fridge started beeping (20 times), the spanner light came on and lights 7 and 9 (from the left) were flashing.
    Searched the internet, but didn't find any answers.
    Finally called F&P, they could only tell me i needed to book a serviceman for $140 min.

    The beeping was driving us nuts - i booked him in.

    I wasn't there when he arrived, but my wife was.
    He counted the beeps, said its a loose wire in the door.
    He opened one of the doors at the top (behind one of the dairy compartments) and reconnected a loose wire.
    Beeping stopped.
    Wife paid $140.
    He drove away.
    All done in less than 10mins.

    Hope this helps one of you fix this problem yourselves.
