    WAS $49.99

    Nope

    Your normal price is $28.99

You price comparison is false and misleading… Read up on the ACCC laws on price comparison advertising…

Well the deal is for 10% off, which is $26.10 from $28.99, and the original price on that archived page was $49.99 down to $28.99, with a further 10% off, so I'm not sure it's all that misleading, perhaps the title could have been written better with the already discounted price as the original.

      • That being said, I can see if for cheaper on Ebay australia, and even cheaper on Ebay India, but not sure shipping would be available.

      • Well the deal is for 10% off

It's still an illegal price comparison in the title. The law is quite clear on this.
You are not allowed to do a price comparison to a price you do not normally sell at.

and the original price on that archived page was $49.99

No it's not, that is just another illegal price comparison.

In determining whether the represented saving will be achieved, a critical issue is whether relevant consumers would have paid the ‘was’ or ‘strike through’ price to purchase that item for a reasonable period before the sale commenced.

          Fair enough.

These looks like the kind of contraption that will cripple you long-term.

It may also be entirely counter-productive: weakening those muscles involved in ensuring good posture.

But what would i know - i'm just some random dude on OB.

  • Just a man bra.
    Nothing more to see here
