Watch Dogs Legion - Thoughts?

Hey everyone, hadn't seen any discussion on this yet and was just wondering what you guys thought in regards to the new Watch Dogs Legion game - teased by Ubisoft a bit earlier and will be in E3 tomorrow.

The E3 presentation is tomorrow morning at 6am, I'm pretty excited for it as I loved the second Watch Dogs and the third can't be much worse.

Anyone else a fan/excited for it? I remember from the release of the first Watch Dogs there were big discrepancies between E3 and the final release (a big issue with Ubisoft Games in the past), but I think the second iteration was pretty good in that regard at least.

I know it's usually not a good idea to pre-order but I think I just might if the reveal is good, I just loved Watch Dogs 2 so much. I guess it'll depend on the pre-order bonuses and the new content :)

Would love to hear anyone else's thoughts on Watch Dogs Legion/Ubisoft at E3/E3 in general, I don't know anyone else who's a fan of it unfortunately.

    Game that's finally in a city other than America? I'm sold! A post-brexit London is going to be a lot of fun I think.

    Rule 1) Never pre-order a game.
    Rule 2) Never trust EA or Ubisoft.

    EA are untrustworthy and money hungry. There is a reason why they are ranked among the most worst rated companies in the US. They had the audacity to charge $80 to unlock Darth Vader in Star Wars BF2 and in turn got the most downvoted Reddit comment of all time

    Ubisoft consistently churn out copied and pasted games. There FIFTEEN Assassins Creed games for consoles in the past 12 years. Even Call of Duty isn't that bad!
    FarCry Primal had the exact same map as FarCry 4.
    I noticed you linked a video there about Ubisoft. Here is another by the same guy showing what went wrong with Watch Dogs

    Wait for the review embargo to go down, draw your conclusions then.
    If you really want to pre-order, at least wait a week before and get it for $69 from Amazon or Big W.

    I couldn't stand the over the top, I'm a cool friendly, funny hacker dialogue/group of the second game. I wish they stuck with the grim-dark angle of the first one.

    I find the amount of interaction between the characters doubtful, or at least to the extent that was show.
    I've forgotten the names of the characters in the demo and the exact dialog so this is just an example.

    For example, Character 1 dies.
    Boss Character 1 says something like "Damn, Character 1, you were one of our best"
    Change character to Character 2
    Boss Character 1 says "Character 2, Character 1 has died and I need you to complete his mission"
    Character 2 responds with "Character 1 was a fool, I'll make sure I don't have the same fate"

    Now, from what was show from the demo, there were about 16 characters to choose from, I pressume there is ALOT more. Now, picture this, that dialogue would have to change for each character that had died and each character that was selected.

    So if you have 16 characters (At the least) you need to create dialogue for all 16 of them responding to actions from the other 15 characters. If they die, that's several lines, if they get arrested or hospitalized (Article mentioned this is what happens if you surrender after getting knocked down) All of these from different voice actors all varying in skill.

    I'm looking forward to being proven wrong though, they could have some trickery and splice in names, gender, death, arrest as examples into the voice lines, making them modular to an extent. We've seen crazy cool systems like the Nemesis one in Shadow of Mordor, but UBISOFT are typically one to innovate, they find a trend or a gap in the market and make something serviceable and support it with DLC and additional content.

    Going to wait for more footage before making a call.

    TLDR
    Playing as a grandma looks cool.

    i'm just looking forward to flying around on giant drones that's going to be so much fun
