I have one its not bad at all suits me, just something to consider from what I learnt you need to buy the hydraulic fluid separately :) Dont be like me and get home before finding that out lol

Possibly out of the factory they forgot to fill on shipment
Mine can pre filled/ ready to go. I'd go back and ask for a refund swap that had the fluid.

I have this jack, and while I definitely would recommend it at this price, a couple of things to note:

    • My car is lowered with aftermarket springs, and I have to use a piece of wood to jack the car up high enough to fit jack stands underneath
    • The end of the jack handle doesn't properly fit the tightening/loosening nut which makes it difficult to use, not sure if this is just a manufacture defect or if it's common across all units
    • Thanks. I looked at it and thought the max height was quite low. Even if I put a 50mm piece of wood underneath, my jacks wouldnt fit under or only at their lowest setting which isn't ideal.

Odd I bought one a couple of years ago from SCA and didnt need to fill up with any fluid.

For those new to jacking up there car, use a "Rubber Jack Pad" (ebay it) so you don't damage your sills/jacking points.

    • Use caution though. Some jack pads are better than others.
This video illustrates the potential danger nicely: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR3oo8s83vk

      Stay safe.

      • The size of that thing is just silly, get a small one and you'll be fine.

      • Thanks for sharing that video! I would still use one but just be careful about the design of them.

Also pays to keep an eye on it, but definitely an eye opener
