JB Hifi has this brand new and free shipping for a standard price of $1526… Normally you can get another 15% off without too much haggling.
Also, these guys charge an arm and a leg for additional warranty, so if that is important, factor this in as well.
I was tempted to get the 58" TV, but ened up going for the http://www.panasales.com.au/product_item.asp?Id=968 which is an IPS panel.
Fingers crossed it works well as a PC monitor :)
