Thanks OP, but DJ's website is shite.

And it's so annoying putting all these things into your cart, checking out, and finding it's only for C+C in some remote corner of Aus.

    • couldn't agree more, gave up at the end.

When I tried to C&C in WA the nearest store was Kotara!

  • While this is not gettable deal for most, wondering where do you guys get the school kids sports shoes from? Any bargain atm?

    • Aldi a few weeks ago ($13 and seem well made)

But usually I get sketchers when they're on sale at sketchers (online/dfo) or sportsdirect sales (reeboks, nikes, sketchers, new balance) but $10 shipping these days kills it unless you're ordering other stuff.

New Balance online when they have 50% off can be good.

      • more than $10 shipping now on sports direct unfortunately, when buying more than 1 shoe it seems

      • Don't get Skechers for your kids - they are inferior quality and less healthy compared with quality shoes from Brooks, New Balance, and Asics.
They need supportive and stable shoes given that they are still growing and their bones are not in their final state of growth and hardness. Wrong shoes can do a lot of harm for later on.

        • Sounds like a lot of BS used to sell more $200 shoes.

          • @coxymla: It is not but up to you.
Just think about it - what memory foam does and what a good runner should do and you can see Skechers are not that great.
Plus, you are just assuming you have to pay more - you do not as this deal shows. You can get much better shoes for the same price as Skechers.
Skechers for example have no medial or lateral stabiliser options plus the materials used for insoles are inferior to those used by Skechers.
You can also look at it another way - do you think a company who specialises in one area and has been doing it successfully for 60 years or so might know more what they are doing than a company who does not specialise in it and/or does not have that much experience in it.
How many top athletes actually compete in Skechers as compared to other shoes? Yes, of course there is money involved but no top athlete at the top of their career would jeopardise it by wearing bad shoes.
But if you believe Kmart trainers etc. for $10 or $15 have the same quality, stability etc. as shoes from Asics, NB etc. then you cannot be helped.
Don't get me wrong - Skechers are probably good for casual walking but they are not close in quality to other brands when it comes to running etc. (look at the review sites - you will not find Skechers anywhere among the top shoes).
The health professionals will thank you for securing their jobs later on in your life (or your kids' lives).

  • what a pain to purchase multiple items from david jones for click&collect!

    • You have to checkout one by one if you need c & c from different stores.
