Increase Maximum Search Alert Limit

I was wondering why the search alert is capped at 20 and if this can be increased?

It was capped at 10 initially and raised to 20. We are currently processing 25,000+ distinct search alert queries each hour, and increasing the cap might mean that it would take even longer to process, which would be undesirable.

  I know you can subscribe to as many stores as you want, is there a way to subscribe to products?

    Not at the moment. Best way is still doing a search alert on the full name of the product.
