Home Office Monitors (2560x1440)

Hey guys, looking for some opinions for affordable 1440 screens. (Affordable being $250-350).
Looking at getting one now, and a second in the future.

Currently use ThinkVision 24" ones at work, looking to emulate the setup at reasonable cost. (Either 24" or 27", decided 32" will be too big on the desk, unfortunatley- as 32" in this res seems to be easier to find at this price point.

At the moment, im looking at:

1) AOC Q27P1

2) ViewSonic VG2719-2K

you can save a bit by going for va2719-2k, if you don't need adjustable/pivot stands

or, if your eyes are good and not watching movies/gaming, try 4k 28"

    • +1 for va2719-2k

I've been using it for more than 2 years already as my 2nd monitor. Has 10bit panel (great for content creation, viewing and reading), speakers (sound thru hdmi) is more than twice louder and sturdier stand than my AOC gaming.

I think the above 4k 28" seems like a better monitor if you plan to play games as well — a bit biased towards gsync/freesync lol.

    • Thats awesome, didnt see the VA when browsing previously. The 4k seems a good price too, more res seems like itll have so much more room for activities. Thanks for your thoughts man!
