Systemic issue with many (all?) internet radio devices since May 2019

Dear OZBers:

I’d be grateful for some help:

“My Favourites” Folder in Bush Internet Radio BR320DABC Missing“

I am using a Bush Internet radio Model BR320DABC from an OZB deal. The unit always worked perfectly.

Now, within the “Internet Radio” I do not have a “My Favourites” folder anymore. I can add Podcast series by long pressing the big button and it says “added to my Favourites”, but there is no folder anymore.

Can anybody provide advice? Searching a podcast series every time you want to listen to it is painful.

Thanks in advance!

Just in case someone has similar problems, seems to be a systemic issue with all/most internet radios since May 2019:

There seems no solution to get the favourites back at this stage.

Also, if you have an internet radio, try app "UNDOK". However, it only replicates info from radio and makes searching easier, but does not restore "My Favourites" which most people miss since you now have to search for your favourite podcasts.

If anybody finds out something else, please share.

I have that same model radio. I love it and think it’s one of the best purchases I made as I listen to it for at least a couple of hours every day. The sound is beautiful. One day last month I decided to charge my Garmin through the radios USB port (which I hadn’t done before). The next morning my programmed alarm did not go off and I slept in. On screen it said something like ‘cannot play source’ and I attributed it to the charging of my Garmin. None of my preset internet radio stations worked and I was devastated because I was missing my favourite programs.

A week later I was fiddling with it and decided to delete the presets and go back into the menu and try re-programming them. Thankfully this fixed the trick. I don’t use a favourites folder or listen to podcasts so I can’t help you there sorry. But I’m glad it wasn’t just me experiencing problems with mine. Here I was thinking I’d left the Garmin charging to long and it’d somehow ruined the radio! It was a fiddly task navigating the menu to select my presets over again but it’s back working as before.

Thanks for sharing the experience. Yes, presets can be re-set, which is great. The Favourites folder is dearly missed in my case as I like to listen to the latest episode of podcast anytime I want to. That feature is gone as of now.
