I should point out that these are low quality discs. I have a spindle here and they will burn very faintly (at any speed) in all my drives. The readability of these discs is not very good. Most drives and players struggle to read them. Over time they get worse, even if they just sit in a cupboard.

I've also seen them cheaper than this many times, which is why I bought them, thinking they would at least work.

If you're after some media to temporarily distribute files to many people and you can't bare to spend another $10 then get these.

Do not use these for archiving data. Your data will not be safe.

I have to disagree, I've relied highly on these exact discs for music in my car for the last year or two and they've been highly reliable, whilst many other brands either didn't have much compatibility, were buggy or deteriorated too quickly. I know these aren't A grade quality, but definitely better than the other cheap brands on offer.

      • SOme of these brands have been known to change who they source their discs from at times, so could be a bit hit and miss. In the past the TDKs have been good to me, but I've had a spindle of Verbatims for the last 5 odd years that;ve done me well…

I think they mean it takes up more room than DVDs. LOL!

      • lol DVD?? Blu Ray buddy! ;)

        • Still too expensive. Cheaper to buy an external HD from Staples. :P

        • ~$100 for a burner and $2-3 for 25GB discs from Japan….not really that bad especially consider 8.5GB DVDs are still around $2ea anyway…

DVDFab also works nicely at backing up Blu Ray movies…

Pretty sure these'd be on par with the other TDK ones that were on clearance from Officeworks for $2.84 for 50 ages ago. Not sure how $33 for 100 is anywhere near good value for CDs these days…

If you want a good quality CD get Taiyo Yuden from for example JPL Displays for $29 + shipping.

    • never know taiyo still making cd ……… not even dvd now….
taiyo always create for premium market only. Once it become common, taiyo runs away.
A lot of fake taiyo yuden disc around (just coded as such for compatibility.

      • Get it from a reputable source.

  • This seems expensive.

    TDK 100 CD's from MSY are $23.

    • Exactly what i was thinking…isn't this store just another branch of COTD?
