where can I find a store that has many sizes?
I've been to south wharf DFO, tried half a dozen stores. None of the jackets would sit right on my shoulders, and the pants were too long. Any tip would be appreciated.
Not looking for a bargain - just the right fit.

not sure that shirts/jackets could be fixed as easily as pants, but that would work for some pants
find out your measurements and buy from stores who list them and match yours
Get them taken in a bit. You don't need to completely retailor a jacket to make it fit tighter in certain places. Get a lot of clothing done at once, hast to be more time efficient than going to half a dozen stores, trying on dozens of jackets, to end up with something that doesn't fit anyway.

I meant yes to all of the above (: I am not overly skinny, but I am short and have slightly broad shoulders.
Uniqlo offer free pants adjustments.
Got some from there last week and received them back the same day. Happy with the quality.
With the jackets I think you have to try different brands and styles. All different cuts really and you can't get them adjusted unfortunately.
Find a decent tailor.
I have to get most of my pants taken up. It's $10.
I lost a lot of weight a while back and had all the expensive stuff taken in from 87cn to 81cm at the waist and that was $15Jackets? Maybe just don't shop at factory outlets but a tailor can shorten arms and adjust certain parts. Possibly not worth it unless it's a $300 jacket.

Department stores have the most brands in the smallest amount of space. What fits you is dependent on the brand spec for their sizing. Even then it can be different so…
