Recommend a Good Grater Electric or Manual Just Reliable and Good Quality

Looking for a good grater can be electric or manual just easy to use, easy to clean and reliable good quality won't break down.

I guess budget is below $120

Will be mostly used to finely grate carrots and cheese for pasta and sandwiches maybe some other vegetables too but mainly to get finely grated carrot.

Currently using a really small manual grater that doesn't cut it.

I can recommend this product - this is a good price too!:

    • The grater itself looks solid, but the plastic container at the bottom looks a bit faffy (unless you use it for actual measuring).
The good old grating on the chopping board works well enough, finish grating then just tilt, put your hand underneath and go.

      • Agreed, I don’t use the container on the bottom. Also it looks like the sale price is now over and it’s back to full price!

        • It could be used as a useful mini measuring cup (on its own) I guess.

  • Do you have a stand mixer that has an option for you to use a grater attachment? I use the Kenwood Pro Slicer which is great for meal prepping and has saved me a bunch of money on buying grated cheese. I stacked codes and it was about $115 from Bing Lee.

    • No mixer.

  • Electric graters are a pain in the ass to clean. Just use one of those rectangular metal things.

    • That's what I'm thinking for now just checking if there are any affordable alternatives for when we do large bulk batches or even a mini electric grater.
