Has eBay Become Infuriatingly Buggy for You Lately or Is It Just Me?

I'm going to give it the flick when my free 12 month ebay Plus subscription runs out in July. It has developed two extremely annoying traits lately.

  1. It keeps sending me emails saying I have a security breach, they lock me out of my account and make me change my password. I haven't got a security breach. I've had to change my password ten times in the last week.

  2. When purchasing, after logging in to Paypal to complete the purchase, it goes into a perma stall and the sale aborts.

ebay are of course useless when I ring.

    What happens when you try and purchase something on another PC? I assume you've tried this, right?

      Addition to this question, rather than changing PC's have you tried to download another browser such as Firefox, Google Chrome … etc and try again?
      Also have you tried to update your current browser?

    No, never had those problems.

    I haven't got a security breach

    How do you know this, at least eBay has a system telling you to change your password because it suspects a security breach.

    Clear your cookies and cache, or use another browser…

            @Typical16-bitEnjoyer: Big hassle firing up another laptop. I might get around to it if I can be bothered but I'm more inclined to give ebay the boot.

            It's an ebay specific problem. If my computer is the problem why does it only affect ebay?

        Yes I have been pwned but so what? I've known that for years. Some hacker somewhere has one of my email address. Big deal- join the queue, behind the spammers.

    I sometimes just sit there hitting F5 and marveling at how random things appear to load and then not load at random.

    It really is a terrible website.

    does anyone have issues with Ebay app?
    search function doesnt work
    clicking links in website brings me to app with nothing

    I uninstalled it, dunno why I installed it in the first place

    That's at the ebay checkout. "Waiting pay.ebay processing"

    I've tried the Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool
