Just some further information on this. I emailed them to find out more about the promotion and was advised that in the case of the iPad2 promotion, there was a single iPad2 available for the $50, after you have satisfied their requirements of course.
It's about what I expected and they are up front about it, the person who responded to me didn't beat around the bush about it, but it still seems kind of underhanded to me.
SCAM - this is rotten. I referred 5 friends and they did the same too. Then waiting at 19:30 for the sale to open I refreshed my browqser and then at 19:30:11 it was sold out. 11 seconds. can you process a credit card transaction in 11 seconds? There is no way that can happen. i am a web developer and there is no payment gateway that can take you from point of sale to completion in 11 seconds (actually there are some, but none that these guys are using).
Emailed and there has been no response. Emailed again. So unfair and false advertising. Dont these people realise that consumer confidence is all that matters in a business?
