Just purchased an entertainment book and not sure how to use the coupons.
When dining, do I need to tell the wait staff that I'm using an entertainment book coupon and/or do I need to show them the coupon before I order?
Or do I just order my meals as usual and only present the coupon at time of payment?
Should I let each restaurant know I'm using a coupon?
Has anyone ever been denied using EB coupons?

Make sure you present the coupon/card before they tally the bill though.
I've only ever been refused multiple coupons at a single table. The waitress refused to accept 3 coupons even after I showed her the rules of use in my copy of the book.
I've had E books for 10 years and that's my only "bad" experience.
I've even had places accept the Card who weren't actually in the book that year (they were in the previous year and I just hadn't bothered to check)!
A mexican restaurant refused to honour a coupon so I sent an email to the Entertainment Book with a scan of the receipt. They wrote an apology and gave me a $100 voucher for another mexican restaurant. Great service and PR.

Might just be a different person you dealt with, therefore different decision being made. Just like calling any call centre. :)

Unlike group buy coupons, you only need to present your Ebook coupon when you request bill.
One additional thing to note that I nearly ALWAYS forget, is that the vouchers are NOT valid on major holidays…ie. V-day, mother's day, christmas, etc.
Its always a bugger when you find that out the hard way!
Enjoy your book! It's a great way to try new places and save in the process. I've faithfully bought the book for the past 5 years now and you'll find how quickly it pays for itself!!!
