You have a $5-10 charger that fast charges a Pixel 3?
just to make it clear the $5 - 10 charger of eBay wont include the AC (power supply) so it will cant cost $5 - $10 in total value.
I would say at least $25 - $35 for a decent Set of the AC charger(>10W) and a wireless pad / stand that supports it. ( after all you dont want an Ac charger TOO cheap to burn the house down :))
yea but these days everyone has a bunch of USB chargers around. I have more apple ones than I have apple products and I havent had an apple device in 5 years.
Also… how many houses have burnt down due to a bad Ac charger charging a phone?
@BeRad: The USB charges lying around wont do the FAST charge.. which is what most customers want these days.
They already acknowledged it was Google's fault, they meant that it's Google's fault that this even has to be a thing, they locked fast charging behind a proprietary charger which is ridiculous.

Just so you know, that article is summarised with "Unless you need the Ambient Mode and Google Assistant features, or you need fast charging, you may be better off buying a reliable wireless charger from Samsung or a similar brand"
Also, I think the deal is actually fine. I think it's just a ridiculously expensive product and that similar items out there are WAY cheaper and do the 99% the same job.
Also fast charging actually could be reducing your battery life as leaving a full charged phone on charger has been shown to not be great long term for phone batteries, and this is obviously more of an overnight charging stand.

Wow what a waste of money this purchase is. Google's fault not Store Rep, but I, and I assume a lot of people here, have got chargers for $5-10 that do the same.
