Noice graphics. Crappy game tho.
It's disappointing because I think the setting and characters had so much potential to make an awesome new franchise. I wish they did more games centred around vampires and werewolfs.
Throws in an online matchmaking, then I can ignore the single player. It will be (half) perfect.

They are tricky but keep at it & you'll beat them.
I always forget about them when telling people to check the game out.
Evil Within 1 had them too IIRC. Absolutely hate the things. I didn't put a 55 inch TV a metre and a half from my bed 5 or so years back so I could have a smaller than possible picture.
I think evil within eventually added an option to remove them.
They did and it plays soo much better now

Best thing about the order 1886?
Getting it in my ps4 bundle and then being able to trade in to jb and get the witcher 3.
Even at this price I think I'll skips it. I don't think I'll ever get to this title - soooo many in the backlog - need to resist and put that $7 to something else that's posted today ;)
What reason do you have to skip it? The main complaint about this game was about its length, which sounds perfect for you considering your backlog problem.

Your PS4 doesn't explode when the PS5 launches. You can still play games on it as long as you want.
And Sony have already said the PS5 will have BC with the PS4.
If it was a must-have title I'd grab it. I'm literally more than 100 games behind my backlog across various platforms…

Incredibly detailed game artistically, not sure if it's worth the reduction in resolution through the use of 'cinematic' black bars.
Mediocre/Generic 3rd person shooter with some interesting fiction, a very cinematic experience. Personally, more than worth it at this price if you're interested in the world, if not don't bother.
Imagine paying seven bucks for a game from the 1880s. There's a sucker born every minute.
To each his own, I guess. I didn't pay full price for my copy years ago, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Still one of the most graphically beautiful games on the PS4.
I love this game not sure why there is a lot of hate, the graphics are also incredible one of the best looking games even today many games can’t look as good as the order
