  • Thanks OP 👍🏻

  • Can't seem to make out from the pictures if the Forming Cream / Heavy Hold Pomade / Fiber are 85g each… But if they are then these are some great prices!

    • +1

It's 85 grams each. I've just updated the description.

  • Ordered the heavy hold pomade quad pack and yes it looks as though the pomade tub is 85g each so a bit short of the 100grams typically found in a tub of Uppercut Deluxe Pomade but still the price is great and considering you also get the shampoo and conditioner on top which usually retails for around $25 each, this is a great deal. Also nice to finally use my Shipster subscription!

  • I dont really know the difference between the sets but I do have some American crew fibre which i find is good low shine etc Anyone else help me understand these?

    • +2

pomade = shine and hold, shampoo out
forming = lower shine and hold, washes out
fibre = matte shine and hold

the best value would be to buzz cut and just grow you hair out and work through the fibre, forming and pomade in that order.

Thanks OP, Fiber is my go-to and this works out cheaper than getting the 150g supersize pack on sale, with the bonus shampoo and conditioner!

  • There won't be any companies using Shipster soon

It would be better for everyone except the owners if the joke that is the private sector was wound up so that we can go back to cheaper deliveries using a Government monopoly.

  • Thanks OP just bought 2. Thought I would try the foaming cream. I'm new to having long hair and still trying different things until I find something that works for me
    Fingers crossed.

    How is their fibre?

Bought some the other day for $15 from Woolies and even though it lists "strong hold", it's complete rubbish.

    • +3

great, i've been using this for years.

    • I find it’s one of the best. I’m an idiot and always forget to stock up and rather than pay $30-$35 for 50g in the first instance I usually try to cheap out and get something else. I’ve regretted it every time. It does need a proper wash to come out though.

  • Great I'll try the heavy hold out. Literally was about to order the normal pomade (I think one of the best pomades I've tried.) Hope I can just use less of the heavy.

  • Got 2 sets for the free shipping! Great find OP

  • Does 10% off first purchase apply too?

    • +1

Nope. Doesn't apply to sale items.

  • +1

Oh well, I just ordered. I was running out of wax, checked Coles and Woolies, neither of them got the specials so this is good value.

  • Great deal! Cheers :)

  • The American Crew Deluxe Pomade is pretty poor, can't comment on any of these products but even if they're mediocre it's pretty decent value. Uppercut and Baxter of California also make some good hair products for men.

    • +2

Found another deal for anyone who prefers Uppercut Deluxe.

      • Would recommend giving suavecito a go

      • Ah looks like it's expired, but that's a damn good deal as well. My barber sells the Monster Hold for ~25 bucks a tin

  • Forming cream page not found - I guess all gone?

    • Looks like it. The other two packs are still available.

  • +1

Awesome Deal OP! Regular American Crew user here and managing to snap up 2 x shampoos, 2 x conditioners and 5 x hair products for under $80 is incredible (grabbed 2 x packs plus an extra defining paste)

  • Also selling Fudge original $11.98 after 20% off: https://www.hairhousewarehouse.com.au/Fudge-Hair-Shaper-Orig…

  • How do I get the 20% discount at checkout ?
    it didn't work for me

    • I think the extra 20% off no longer applies. They removed it from the listing.

    • It was a EOFY sale so all finished now

    Do they sell toupes?

  • Anyone else waiting for their order to ship over a week later?

    • I bought 2x Fibre Quad packs on 30/06 and received it 05/07 so maybe you should contact them and find out what's going on.

    • Still waiting on mine as well.

    • Mine finally arrived this morning!
