I'm pretty sure its 4-12 working days.

LOL 5 weeks? It's 2 weeks tops. You've never ordered from the UK have you

      • Yeah have bought from them before and the delivery is usually about a week, very rare for it to approach 2 weeks…

As for the comment on stock they would I assume have to confirm that they can get an extra allocation of stock at launch before they put it up for sale on their site….

Wrong, sammy96. Of the 20 or so items I've bought from Ozgameshop the average shipping time has been approx a week and a half. I've had a few items come in in under a week. Also I've found with pre-orders they ship before the release date. They also always says whether they have stock or not. Actually an extremely good site. So yeah, to reiterate - you're wrong.

  • Similar prices at zavvi and the hut.

  • Where does it say limited edition on the site?

Edit: Ah, just wrong link (well, normal version) in OP. Here's limited edition: http://www.ozgameshop.com/pc-games/battlefield-3-limited-edi…

  • Decent deal so long as you don't mind a 3-4week wait for the game. Anyone playing this in the first 6 weeks of release is pretty much a final beta tester for the game anyway. You wont really see the balance & full working edition until at least the first two rounds of bug fixes are released.

3-4 weeks? Have you ordered from them or anyone in the UK before?? Normally it's more like a week with it rarely being close to 2 weeks….

      • 1-3 weeks is the norm in my experience for UK purchases, but these guys in specific seem to take a bit longer. The wait didn't bother me, the lack of responses to e-mails questioning the wait did though.

  • @ infinite: It generally takes 1 - 2 weeks for orders to arrivew (in my experience)

Depending on the company you can get stuff in 5 - 7 working days from the UK [try eBay]

    • My last order took 3 weeks & 2 days from the time of ordering. No explanations or responses to e-mail queries.

  • Do they ship it early so it arrives on the release date?

    • No, they generally ship it on release day if stock levels allow.

    • I've found they ship a couple of days before release - or earlier. For example, I pre-ordered Halo Reach from these guys and it got to me two days after it was released in Aus.

  • please forgive my silly Q. as i never order any game online before, is this one come with DVD disk and access code just like what we bought from EB game? and anyone know when will they ship it to us ? will it arrives on the release date or earlier?? many thankssssss

    • Yes, Ozgameshop is just like a physical retailer. They sell UK stock though.

      • so $44.99 is a very gd deal for us, as i think EB game will be selling it at least $99 cos its a new release….however,i just wondering when will they send it to us after we done the payment, before the release date or earlier?? cheers

        • take the time to read above.

  • worried that this game wont run on my PC. witcher 2 barely does.

    • If you can run BC2 you probably can run this. good luck

    • Have you checked out the E3 videos for BF3? It looks pretty hardware intensive. Though it's almost impossible to predict before a game is released. Also, Witcher 2 is a graphically amazing game (easily one of the prettiest I've seen) so I don't think you should be too disheartened if it doesn't run well on your PC.

      • I have seen the E3 videos and BF3 was played on PC to fully show the good graphics. But Developers usually lower the graphics for consoles, so probably they have low settings for PC as well =P

  • lol i just bought this the other week from The Hut coz i didn't think they'd get it back in stock and i wanted the special edition. but at least i got it for like 42 bucks coz was able to use a 5pound off code.

  • Since some of you guys have purchased from here before how does the dvd region work, is it region free or am i going to have to change the dvd settings first.

Delivery can be a little crazy i brought 2 games on the same nite in separate transactions, MK took 7days and the other took 16 days even though they were sent at the same time.

    • Should be region free

    • Only DVD movies have regions, Data DVD-ROMs dont have regions…

  • How does this work? DICE posted on there blog that it's impossible to pre-order BF3 without ending up with the limited edition.

    • it's not a true preorder, they'll just send what they have on release day, and no doubt they'll get some normal editions to sell on release day.

  • This is a pre-order - Game will be despatched to you on or before the release date 25th October 2011 - Subject to change by the publisher.

  • i dont suppose this is compatible with Steam ?

    • i would rather it not be haha.

  • ok ordered

  • Ordered! Now, to look at PC upgrades in the next 5 months …

    • Nah wait until BF3 actually comes out and then see what is needed to run it… For all we know this talk about needing better hardware than is currently available to max out the game could be all just hype. Besides Nvidia/ATI have new generation cards due out at the end of the year so hold off and see what they offer as they are supposed to be a decent leap ahead of the current generation….

If an upgrade is a must then I would seriously just get a new decent PSU, motherboard, RAM, CPU,etc and try use your existing GPU until the end of the year…
