486874 - $1 garlic bread at selected stores

    • Good find, but can't find any stores that accept it

      • Not sure if this trick works but…

When I did get a code working for a store, I then changed the store to one which originally didn't work, yet the code remained.

Let me know if it works.

Given the size of 'Large', this price is about right.

The quality of the ingredients on these must be dire…

Working at Chatswood NSW, no queue either

  • +2

(profanity) dominos and their "selected stores" bullshit.

    • +1

this is usually difficult franchisees choosing to opt out of head office marketing campaigns

      • Domino's head make it difficult for their franchisees, not the other way around. Domino's coupons are not sustainable for their stores long term. Once you account for overheads some of these offers are below cost. Head office remain happy because they maintain their percentage cut.

    • +1

$3.95 for a fresh pizza minus GST and ingredient costs. A lot of frozen Woolworths pizzas are more expensive than $5 and you need to cook it yourself.

This pricing seems like an unsustainable gift and you're getting mad over a dollar.

  • Works at Ashmore on the Gold Coast

    Works at Woodville Park SA

  • Works at Marriott Waters VIC :)

  • Works in Bentley Perth

  • Thanks OP. Works at Gungahlin ACT

  • worked in Melbourne CBD (Flinders st)

  • Thanks mate! lunch sorted :D

  • Lunch sorted, cheers!

  • and in related news, AFR is reporting that Domino's are focusing on sales quantities over profit and franchisees are nor happy.

    • +3

Are any franchisees of any business happy? I feel like most of the time they end up being exploited

  • Got 3 for me and my bro, cheers OP.

Wish they had some lava cake coupons. Those things are fire, but I'm cheap.

  • +1

Honestly they are so small and bad that a $3 stone fire pizza from Coles is comparable in value. $3.95 should be normal price.

    • +4

The 3x stone baked cheese pizzas from Aldi for $6 are also good once you add a few fresh ingredients

      • Shush, don't let the secret out!

  • -1

I hope you guys are purchasing some sides to go along with these $3.95 pizzas. At these prices it is not sustainable.

So we should care about the poor multinational losing money on a promotion they chose to run?

      • +1

I don't think you understand how these business models run. The multinational Domino's never loses money. The poor store owners do

        • +1

Lol, they chose to be a franchise and most likely put a small independent pizza shop around the corner out of business

  • I'd pay $5 for a dirty value (include Hawaiian please). $10 for traditional, $15 for premium, $20 for New York.

Would need more topping but apart from that… What's killing Domino's is the fact they haven't realised that Australia is more multicultural now than the late 90's and our tastes have changed. It is still the same wheat heavy grease laden product.

The only answer head office has is to slash costs and prices to the bone. If it was the best pizza or one of the best you could get bar a few small boutique shops I'd gladly buy one.

They are also failing to explore small personal pizzas for lunch. Gladly pay $7.50-10 if they could make them well

  • Garlic bread code does work but changing store wont retain the order. It clears out the garlic bread once you change store

  • Worked Noranda, WA

  • I've found little caesers bigger and better.
