Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Map Not Updating

Hey guys,

I have this vacuum which has been operating fine except that the map never gets updated.its just a dot in a blue background. Is there some sort of firmware update or something I need to do for this to work?

    You will need to activate map saving.

    Settings -> Vacuum Settings -> Map saving mode
