I think that means it will work just like a finger - not the finer lines and pressure sensitivity from something like an Apple pencil.
I don't know anything about Android stylus' but I think it is the same on that platform?

some would buy the cheapie,

rather than Apple's Au$ 129+
that may be for Pencil ver 1
