Deals.com.au got hacked

It sure looks like a worry. The Deals.com.au melbourne page seems to be defaced to link to a SAFE AV program…yeah, right….

I did buy some stuff fromt before, so sure do hope they didn't store any CC info.

  • Hmmm. Anyone contacted Deals.com.au? And sending spam report to the service provider in Latvia, where the "anti virus" program is hosted?

    • I did send an email to Deals.com.au, but not sure if anyone read it.

      • Okay I too used their contact form to inform them. It's a public holiday so the engineers might not be in the office for them, but at least they need to pull that "offer" down as soon as possible.

        • I think they've taken down the site now. It's just irritating how they never reply to feedback type of email. Sent them couple similar emails re other glitches on their website before, and never get a reply.

  • any screenshots?

    • I think the website is back to normal now

Thanks for the quick feedback everyone. The site was cleared within a few of minutes of the issue being detected.

We don't keep any credit card details at all, so the safety of transactions was not compromised in any way.

We appreciate all the help of our members in letting us know so quickly.
