Woolworths Card Use - Barcode

I've a question relating to Woolworths eGift cards that I get via Cashrewards. My use of the eGift cards is in store. On making a payment I need type in the 10 digit code and a four digit pin.

Does the in store payment terminal allow for scanning of a eGift card barcode? (I will use an online barcode generator to create the barcode). I recognise that I could order physical cards - which work by magnetic stripe - but I do not want the hassle of waiting for them in snail mail.

Just use the Woolworths Money app. You store your eGift cards in the app and it gives you a shortened code which you plug into the self checkout machines EFTPOS keypad machine. Also shows the PIN and balance in real time. Saves you having to carry around paper (which you may be doing now?)

I found with the Coles eGift cards, only the newer machines with the new mini barcode reader scan the OLED screen of my phone correctly. Woolworths' self checkout machines are older so I guess their barcode reader is even less capable.

the shortened code IS the 10 digit one :/
10 digits for in-store - 19 digits for online shopping
the Money app doesn't change the codes at all…it just stores the cards with balance
