I am hearing people getting good business class deals but unsure how to find these flights?
Do you book a non sale economy flight then request a points upgrade to business?

Iv been searching various destinations recently thru Qantas and I constantly find fares min 350k+ for Qantas redemptions around April 2020. and this is just to cities in Asia like SIN or SGN

Better value flights are probably restricted to cash customers. Someone's job revolves around this remember.
I think what you are referring to is that classic reward seats represent much better value doing points plus pay (essentially converting points to cash at a crappy rate and using them to buy a normal ticket).
If you did what I said above, you are searching for reward seats rather than points plus pay, so you are already finding the good value seats.
Found quite a few for 45k points each way in the start of March from Melbourne to Colombo, Sri Lanka.
