Boost Data Rollover Query

Hi

Suppose I am on a Boost prepaid plan ( one of the 28-day expiry plan) and I have accumulated around 100gb of data. If I decide to switch over to the 12-month A$300 240gb plan and successfully recharge before my current 28-day expiry plan expires, will that 100gb Data which I had accumulated be rolled over and added to my data for me to use over the next 12 months?

I am Currently on Telstra prepaid and the above-mentioned works as data banking upto 200gb is allowed.

My first post!

From my conversations with the Boost Chat staff, all your data will roll over so long it was recharged prior to the expiry. You should have the whole 340gb to use for the next 12 months!

    • Thanks

      • I believe I was mistaken. Rollover only occurs with their monthly plans, not their 6 or 12 month ones. However, if you contact the Boost staff whom are usually very helpful, they maybe able to combine it. Give it a go!

In the app, the rollover data has an expiry date.. so I don't think it will be banked up if you change to the bigger 12 month plan.

IIRC, from the comments on a Boost deal, this is what happens:

    • any bonus data will not roll over
    • standard data from the 28-day plan rolls over for the next 28 days (not 12 months)
  • So simple, ring up Boost and find out, it’s not hard, isn’t it ?
