    Congrats on the new bub!

You'll get your sleep back, in about 18yrs :-)

When they say they're Biodegradable, that can be said of anything, but apparently these actually breakdown in under 60 days, which a good if you're concerned about that sort of thing.

    • Thanks supabrudda! Yeah that's one of the reasons we looked at them, at least they break down.

  • Congrats on your baby

    • Thanks!

Our local one (QLD) scanned at full price, so I showed them the receipt above and the manager price matched it.

Will give them a whirl but noticed these wipes are made in China and generally prefer made in Australia wipes (and nappies), due to concerns with counterfeiting and undeclared substitution of ingredients.

Congrats OP re bub. Hot tip with wipes, use them on your own nether region before on bub. Some brands have a nasty sting in them and you can only imagine how it feels on delicate baby skin.

Aldi ones are cheaper ($9 for 480), made in Australia with aloe vera, chamomile and vitamin E.

      • Happily using these as well, coming from curash $20 for 600

    • Thanks and good tip.

Do you have any good made in aus nappies to recommend?

I've been using Huggies but the factory closes in July.
        https://www.kidspot.com.au/news/huggies-nappies-will-no-long…

I haven't purposely been trying to buy in Australia, however, so the factory change is unlikely to affect my purchasing.

The article mentions a few nappy brands that make nappies in Australia but generally it is not their full range — only some of the range are made here.
Mamia (Aldi) - Open nappies are Australian (not the pull ups!)
Coles Comfy - Crawler, Toddler and Walker unisex nappies are Australian
Mater - Size 3 and 4 are Australian

  • No price-match in Maidstone VIC. They called the Coburg store to ask why it was so cheap. Apparently it was a special offer as it reopened after renovations.
