Taste is a bit rough. No sugar tasted like normal coke with bad after taste of guarana etc.

Exactly what I thought of and the bofens that made it (commercial).
It's tastes pretty much exactly like that original silver canned Mother from aeons ago. In other words, not very nice.
Blows my mind that with so many focus groups and all the other kinds of testing Coca-Cola does, they still managed to release an unappealing drink like this for the 2nd time.

I loved the original mother but hated this latest coke energy drink. I couldn't stomach it and put it down the sink after having a third of it.
Tasted ok. Kind of like raspberry water with Coke flavoring
As someone that quite likes energy drinks and Coke, actually not good at all. Both sugar/no-sugar variants are quite bad with NO Coca-Cola taste. Wouldn't recommend it.
Coca-Cola produces an energy drink called 'Relentless' in the UK which is fantastic, always wondered why they didn't bring it here.

A bit like coke but also more water than the usual coke. Not as sweet as Coke.

tried it today and i reckon it tastes horrible.
Tried one the other day - tastes absolutely disgusting … couldn't taste anything that resembled "the taste of coke" - only that horrible mediciney-taste most energy drinks have :(
Kind of funny that they produce an energy drink with no sugar… so does its energy content come from protein, fat, or alcohol?

It tasted awful, like perfume. You know when you kiss someone's cheek when they've just applied perfume or aftershave? That's the lingering taste at the back of your throat when you drink this.

Mother tastes better and is better value at $6.85 for a 4 x 500ml pack.
